Was it Chomsky who called AI 'plagiarism machines'? They're a captivating parlour trick... until they they control weapon systems and target human beings, as they're currently doing in Gaza, soon coming to a collapsing state near you. The minerals, power and water used to build and keep these things online is off the charts. I can't see any benefits of outsourcing our "thinking" and "creativity" to AI. They offer the same hollow experience as our modern "civilisation", they can never know, really know, what they're talking about, they can never understand the beauty of the sky or a smile.
I'm with the Luddites on this one, unplug the lot of them.
